Relocation of Columbia Pike Recycling Center - Poll

Some residents of Columbia Heights West would like to request the relocation of the County Recycling Center that is located on Columbia Pike at Four Mile Run. Arlington County has spent millions of dollars to improve this area of the Pike. The ongoing project to underground the overhead utility lines, realign South Buchanan Street, and improve the streetscaping along Columbia Pike is a significant and welcome improvement to the Pike. However, given this kind of investment, some believe it makes no sense to leave the Recycling Center front and center on the Pike.
