Volunteer training 2014 - TreeStewards
Post date: Dec 10, 2013 3:39:09 PM
The TreeStewards of Arlington and Alexandria are volunteers dedicated to improving the health of our urban trees through educational programs, tree planting and care, demonstrations and tree maintenance throughout the community. New volunteer training will be held on Tuesday evenings, starting Feb. 11 through April 2014, with some Saturday mornings. Fun and interactive training is provided by recognized experts in tree care and citizen advocates. Join us and learn how to care for trees on the streets, in parks, at schools, churches, temples, and your neighborhood.
For more information and to complete an application, visit the TreeSteward website at www.TreeStewards.org or emailinfo@TreeStewards.org

TreeStewards of Arlington & Alexandria are volunteers who have gone through training with Trees Virginia and the Virginia Cooperative Extension. We are happy to share our knowledge with neighbors and assist them in finding the information they request, but we are not professional arborists. Our website www.TreeStewards.orgprovides information on tree care and how to select an arborist.
