Fall personal finance seminars

Post date: Sep 15, 2013 3:10:12 PM

Please join Virginia Cooperative Extension this fall for two personal finance seminars. Both will be held in the 2nd floor meeting room at the Arlington Central Library from 6:30-8:30 and both will be led by volunteer and Certified Financial Planner Mike May.

Oct. 2: Ten Baby Steps to Financial Freedom

Mike will share ten actions that everyone can take to work toward financial security and the suggested order for taking them.

Oct. 9: Annuities and 529 plans

We have received a lot of questions about these two tax-sheltered investing plans in the past and so decided to combine a discussion of them into one class. Come with your questions for Mike to address. We plan to focus the first hour on annuities and the second on 529 college saving plans.

Please pass this notice on to others who you think might be interested. Looking forward to seeing you at the library.
