Dear Neighbors,
Some of you may be aware of the More Seats for More students, which is Arlington Public Schools (APS) planning process to address the growing student population and the capacity to accommodate the students.
The APS proposed alternative to building a new elementary school at the TJ site is to build additions at two schools (Barcroft and Randolph)
Given the proximity of the two schools to our civic association boundaries, it would be helpful to have a person or a small group represent the civic association in these discussions.
Please let me know by Sep 25 if you are interested.

Estimados vecinos,
El sistema de Escuelas Publicas de Arlington (o APS por sus siglas en ingles) esta llevando a cabo un proceso de planificación, para enfrentar el aumento de los números de estudiantes y explorando como acomodar a la población estudiantil.
El sistema APS y el condado de Arlington están explorando la posibilidad de construir una nueva escuela primaria cerca de la escuela secundaria Thomas Jefferson. Si esto no es posible, el sistema APS a propuesto construir adiciones a dos escuela primerias existentes (Barcroft y Randolph)
Dada la proximidad de las dos escuelas a nuestro vecindario, sería útil contar con una persona o un pequeño grupo que representan la asociación cívica en estas discusiones.
