November 14 - The Green Economy: Competing Globally for Jobs of the Future
Hosted by Mason's School of Public Policy Student Association. Hear from Terry McAuliffe, former Chairman of the Democratic National Committee and now Chairman of GreenTech Automotive. McAuliffe will offer insight about his company's recent experience with China and discuss how green technologies can create jobs globally. Light refreshments will be served. Join our School of Public Policy Film Society's Presentation of "GasLand." View the film and hear from a panel about this Oscar-nominated documentary by Josh Fox. It explores the controversy of the natural gas technology known as "fracking." Light refreshments will be served. This event runs 5-7:30 p.m at Founders Hall in the Auditorium. Open to the public.
