Arlington County Board Adopts FY 2012 Budget with No Tax Rate Increase
- No increase in property tax rate
- Funds safety net priorities, caring for Arlington’s neediest
- Restores some services, including library hours and public safety needs
- 7% increase to Arlington Public Schools
ARLINGTON, Va. --- The Arlington County Board today adopted a $1 billion budget for Fiscal Year (FY) 2012 that is focused on fiscal sustainability and safety net priorities. The budget includes no real estate tax rate increase and is 5.1% higher than the FY 2011 budget.Read more.
